Last modified: Thursday, February 19, 2004 9:46 AM EST House moved in Attleboro ATTLEBORO -- One of two May Street houses to be used for an affordable housing project developed by the city has been moved about a half-mile to its new site on Roy Avenue. The ranch-style house, once headed for demolition to make way for a shopping center at the corner of May and Washington streets, was moved by truck through the notoriously busy South Attleboro traffic and snowy weather on Wednesday. The second home, which has been taken off its foundation could be moved today.
