ATTLEBORO -- A new downtown condominium project is 75 percent sold, fueling optimism for the success of a similar city-backed condominium-retail project on Union Street now in the planning stages.

Developer George Jung who built the eight units on Park Street said the project `` is just about done,'' and six of the units have been sold.

The three-bedroom condos are selling for $306,000.

A separate deal on a one-unit street-level commercial space, which is part of the development at 42 Park St., is also in the works, he said.
