ATTLEBORO -- Big construction projects have helped the city top last year's revenue from building permits and there's still six months to go in the year.
Fees for the new Texas Instruments research and development center, the city's wastewater treatment plant and an addition to Sturdy Memorial Hospital are among the projects that have helped boost total collections for six months past last year's 12-month number.
Building Inspector Doug Semple said collections for fiscal year 2005 have reached $536,000, which is about $9,000 more than was collected in all of FY 2004.
