Last modified: Saturday, January 15, 2005 3:02 AM EST City man faces assault count ATTLEBORO -- A city man was ordered held on $5,000 bail Friday for allegedly striking a local teenager last summer. Police charged Christopher Tumolo, 21, of 4 Ice Pond Road, with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (rock) and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot). Police allege Tumolo struck Derek Ross, 18, of 20 Loomis St., South Attleboro, in the face with the rock. Ross fell to the ground, where Tumolo then allegedly kicked him in the head. The incident allegedly happened on Sept. 12, on the Morse, Sand and Gravel property.
