Lawyer/author speaks to Bar Association

ATTLEBORO -- The chief lawyer who investigates Massachusetts lawyers for wrongdoing spoke to members of the local bar association, and they were all ears.

That was because Michael Frederickson, chief counsel to the Board of Bar Overseers, talked Thursday night about his books -- suspense fiction in the vain of the more well-known, lawyer-author John Grisham.

Frederickson's critically acclaimed books, `` The Cinderella Affidavit,'' `` Defense of the Dead'' and `` Witness for the Dead,'' are filled with colorful characters who are gum shoe lawyers, loan sharks, gangsters, cops, and murderers.
