ATTLEBORO -- `` Open'' signs are replacing ones advertising `` Space for Rent'' downtown.

A Nextel and T-Mobile cell phone store opened in November at 63 Park St., between Houle's City Cab and Cheri's Nails.

And up the street, at the corner of Park and South Main streets, passersby see another sign: `` Mmmm '85 Toasty.''

The national Quizno's Sub chain plans to open its first local restaurant on the street corner in May.
