FOXBORO -- Gillette Stadium officials say they are talking with representatives of controversial rap artist Eminem about performing in Foxboro this summer.

Dan Murphy, vice president of busi ness affairs, said Wednesday that he has talked with Eminem's agent, but nothing has been confirmed.

Eminem is planning to tour with the alternative band Linkin Park and the hard-core rapper 50 Cent, who has been embroiled in controversy.
