ATTLEBORO -- Two pit bull attacks in recent months have prompted city councilors to consider the adoption of a law to control dangerous dogs.

No specific proposals are on the table, but the council has scheduled a public hear ing to get input from residents.

City Councilor Frank Cook, who along with council Presi dent Barry LaCasse called for the session, said councilors need to know the breadth and depth of the issue before act ing.
