ATTLEBORO -- Tragedy struck a Braintree family Friday night when their young daughter was killed in a rollover accident as they traveled together on Interstate 95-South.
Olivia Teixeira, 20, of Braintree, died when the SUV she was riding in flipped over a guardrail near Exit 2 in South Attleboro early Friday night.
Her father, Olivio Teixeira, 49 and his wife, Rosalina Teixeira, 47, both of Braintree, each suffered injuries in the single-car accident and were listed in fair condition at Rhode Island Hospital on Saturday night.
Their daughter was ejected from the family's Ford Explorer when Olivio Teixeira, who was driving, lost control of the car while attempting to switch lanes.
