ATTLEBORO -- A Norton man was convicted Wednesday of possessing $40,000 worth of steroids and pills and charges of domestic assault, but was acquitted of sexually assaulting a former girlfriend.
Robert Goddard, 42, of 72 Plain St., was ordered held in jail without bail, pending sentencing today before Judge Robert E. Baylor in Attleboro District Court.
The jury of two men and four women deliberated for about three hours before reaching a verdict in the two-day trial.
