ATTLEBORO -- The two candidates for mayor clashed over sewer, water, building and cable television fee hikes Thursday during a debate at city hall.
Challenger Tom Parker charged that Mayor Kevin Dumas has balanced the city budget by imposing huge fee hikes on residents.
Dumas countered by saying he has brought fiscal stability to city government.
The comments came at a debate sponsored by The Sun Chronicle and the downtown renewal group Friends of Attleboro Interested in Revitalization, which is known as FAIR.
