ATTLEBORO -- Mark Cuddy, the president of Richardson-Cuddy Insurance Agency Inc. and an active community member, has been named `` Person of the Year'' by the Chamber of Commerce of the Attleboro Area.

He was named in recognition of his `` commitment to the overall mission of the Chamber and his positive impact on the community,'' according to a press release.

Bill Adair, of Bristol County Savings Bank, who nominated Cuddy, described him as `` a great asset to the community.''
