NORTH ATTLEBORO -- A conservation area that has served as an outdoor classroom for North Attleboro High School got a little sprucing up on Thursday, thanks to the efforts of some local science students.
Students in teacher David Vito's research and science class spent the day removing debris and rubbish from the 14-acre, town-owned Thomas Graham Conservation area.
`` We fanned out all the way out to the highway to clean it up,'' said Emily Lonzo, a junior. `` We found lots of cans, bottles, pipes, antique wheels and railroad signs. It was a lot of scrap metal and stuff like that.''
