Election expensive

ATTLEBORO -- Tom Parker's quixotic campaign against Mayor Kevin Dumas last fall ended up costing the chal lenger $22,823 of his own money.
Dumas, who won re-elec tion easily, spent only $15,702 for his 5,132 votes, or $3.05 a vote.
Parker won only 2,116 votes at a cost of $10.78 a vote.
