NORTON -- Hockey and Iraq might seem a little incongruous.
But when VFW manager Gary Cameron heard of a military unit in Iraq that wanted to start a street league, it didn't take long for the Vietnam veteran and other members of the post to hit the ice.
They bought a large supply of goals, sticks, nets and street hockey balls and shipped them to Ramallah, Iraq, after receiving a request from a Plymouth woman whose son is a Navy corpsman serving there with the Marines.
