Obituaries were reported for Marie Lafontaine, 94, of Attleboro, Ellie Boyle, 99, of Attleboro, Helen Sartini, 90, of Pawtucket.

Marie Lafontaine, 94

ATTLEBORO -- Marie A. Lafontaine, 94, of Maple Terrace, Attleboro, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006 at the home of her daughter, Lorraine M. Quinlan, in Plainville. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond C. Lafontaine, who died on Feb. 6, 1991.

Born in St-Henri-de-Mascouche, Quebec on Jan. 25, 1912, Mrs. Lafontaine was a daughter of the late Philippe and Parmelia (Coutu) Harnois. She was raised and educated in Central Falls, R.I.

Mrs. Lafontaine was employed at the Robbins Company in Attleboro, retiring in 1977. A resident of Attleboro since 1939, Mrs. Lafontaine was a member of the Emblem Club at the Attleboro Lodge of Elks, BPOE 1014 and a member of the Maple Terrace Residents Association.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially time spent with her two great-granddaughters: Alexandria and Ana.

Mrs. Lafontaine is survived by two daughters, Lorraine M. Quinlan and her companion Russell Franceschini, both of Plainville, and Therese M. Turcotte and her husband Robert, of Attleboro; four grandchildren: Kevin Bergevine of North Attleboro, Todd Quinlan of Dallas, Texas, Paul Turcotte of Friendship, Maine and Nicole Turcotte of Providence; two granddaughters, Alexandria Bergevine and Ana Turcotte; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the mother-in-law of the late David Quinlan.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, Sept. 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro.

A funeral will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 9 a.m. from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 71 Linden St., Attleboro celebrated by the Rev. John Raposo, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Dodgeville.

Ellie Boyle, 99

ATTLEBORO -- Ellie (Harris) Boyle, 99, of Pleasant Street, Attleboro, died on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Attleboro, where she had been a resident since March 1999. She was the wife of the late Harold Boyle, who died on Sept. 9, 1970.

Born on July 11, 1907, in Prince Edward Island, Canada, she was a daughter of the late William S. and Mary E. (Turner) Harris. She was raised and educated in Canada, and settled in Attleboro when she immigrated to the United States many years ago. She later moved to Florida, where she resided for 34 years prior to returning to Attleboro to be closer to her family seven years ago.

For many years, she had been employed as a jewelry assembler for various Attleboro-area firms, and while residing in Florida was employed by several restaurants.

She leaves a sister, Daisy Moore of Attleboro; two brothers, George Harris of Attleboro and Melvin Harris of Prince Edward Island, Canada; and multiple generations of nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Albert Harris, Norman E. Harris, Celina Cannon, Ivy Harris, Turner Harris and Charles Harris.

Visitation has been respectfully omitted.

A private graveside service will be held at Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro. Burial will follow.

Helen Sartini, 90

PAWTUCKET -- Helen L. Sartini, 90, of Dover Street, Pawtucket, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006 at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Orlando `` Lindy'' Sartini.

Born in Canton, the daughter of the late Thomas and Angelina (Annese) Cirello, Helen had lived in Pawtucket since 1941.

She was a machine operator for Fram Corporation for many years.

She leaves one son, John F. Sartini and his wife Karen; one daughter, Pamela Gagnon; three grandchildren: John A. Sartini and his wife Vanessa, Jamie Sartini, and Kristen Lasher and her husband Brian; and six great-grandchildren, Cameron, Jacob, Mya, and Marlena Sartini, Trent and Jase Lasher. She was the mother of her beloved cockatiel, P.J.

She was the mother of the late Anthony Sartini, and the sister of the late Tony, Vic, and John Cirello, Edith Annese and Ann Robinson. Helen was always a dear friend to many.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Teresa's Church, Newport Avenue, Pawtucket on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited.

Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Arrangements are by the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home.
