The identity crisis in my family is spreading. You know how once a year, around my birthday, I show you all the creative ways people spell my name. Well, this disease has spread to my wife now.

Carole received mail recently addressed to Dcarole Darcote and Cardle D'Ancourte.

My daughter Lara, who hasn't lived at home for quite a while, still gets mail here. At least I think it's for her. It's addressed to Lara Arcoate.

And they haven't given up on me either.

Since last I wrote about this, the mailman has delivered to my address correspondence for D.P. Darcante, Oreste D. Acante, Cheste D'Aneonte and Dacante Oreste. For the record, here is who some people think I am:

Super Bowl Ads

Are we a violent country, or what? If the ads in the Super Bowl are any indication, we are with a capital "V."

At $2.6 million per 30 seconds, we got to see:

People slap each other, office workers jump off a cliff, an astronaut hit by a comet, our heart getting beat up by a gang in an alley, a hitchhiker with an axe, hair being ripped off chests, heads being smashed against steering wheels and multiple car crashes, just to name a few.

The action on the field was mild in comparison.
