Pawtucket Force under-13 AAU Baseball Club, seeking new players for the upcoming season. Those born on or after May 1, 1993, are eligible. The Force is a new team that will play competitive AAU baseball throughout Southern New England, mostly on weekends. BASKETBALL

Spring Hoops Youth Tournament: Registration underway for local boys and girls youth basketball teams for the eighth annual tournament held March 24, 25 in Medway; competition for teams in grades 5, 6, 7 and 8; all teams entered will play a minimum of three games; trophies will be presented to players on championship teams; AAU teams not eligible; interested teams, coaches or travel league coordinators can get more information by calling 774-265-5106 or by e-mailing newenglandhoops@comcast.net

One-Day Challenge: The Mansfield Sports Complex will host its' annual Boy's Basketball Spring One-Day Challenge March 31. All teams are guaranteed two games. Competition will be conducted in various grade divisions, five through 12. The fee is $165.00 per team. All AAU, USSSA, all-star and travel teams are welcome. FIELD HOCKEY

Youth Indoor Field Hockey sponsored by Attleboro YMCA: a recreational league for kids ages 10-18; five players per team; modified version of indoor field hockey rules will be used to officiate the games; players have to provide their own sticks with blade covers or socks, shin pads, mouth piece and eye protection; push shots and push passes are the norm, no raised balls or drives are allowed; balls may only leave the floor on a shot at the net in the striking circle; all games played on Saturday mornings, March 3-April 14; middle school 10-14 year olds play from 9-10 a.m. and high school, ages 15-18, play from 10-11 a.m.; Fee is $25 for non-members, $15 for members and $10 for a family member.

FOOTBALL

SWIMMING

The Attleboro Recreation Dept., in co-operation with the City of Attleboro, will return its popular family swimming sessions on Sunday to its fall calendar of events. The sessions will be held Sunday evenings from 6-8:45 p.m. and will be open to city residents for a nominal $2 fee. Recreation Dept. Director Dennis Walsh and Recreation Commission Chairman Mark Cuddy will direct the program which will run through April. For further information call 774-203-1889.

VOLLEYBALL
