ATTLEBORO - All eyes will be on the city council tonight as councilors give their final OK on the multi-million dollar Urban Renewal plan for downtown Attleboro.

The plan, which is expected to be carried out in phases and run over the next 20 to 30 years, basically reinvents the downtown bringing a transportation center at the present site of the MBTA parking lot, and a host of housing and retail complexes to the city's aging center.

The council takes up the issue at 7 p.m. in City Hall.
