City man guilty in rape; faces deportation
ATTLEBORO - A 31-year-old city man who pleaded guilty last week to raping one of his co-workers, is now serving a prison sentence and will be deported to Brazil.
Vladimir A. Teixeira was given a four-year prison term and will be deported once he completes the sentence, his lawyer, Anthony Mastromarino Jr. said.
Teixeira pleaded guilty to two counts of rape last Thursday before Judge David McLaughlin.
The incident occurred last July when the defendant and the 22-year-old victim finished working their shifts at a restaurant where the two worked together.
