Attleboro man dies in I-95 rollover

Ghazwan Yassin, 45, of Attleboro was driving a 2007 Toyota Scion in the high-speed lane on I-95 South just before Interstate 495, when he lost control of the car and rolled into the median, state police said. Yassin was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence with serious injuries. He was later pronounced dead. The passenger, Nissreen Yassin, 32, of Attleboro, also was seriously injured. She was listed in trauma intensive care unit at Rhode Island Hospital on Tuesday, a hospital spokeswoman said. Speed was a factor, state police said. However, state police said the crash remains under investigation. Both occupants were wearing safety belts, state police said. The left lane of I-95 South in Mansfield was closed for about 90 minutes during the investigation. North Attleboro and Mansfield firefighters and state Highway Department crews assisted troopers at the scene.
