BASEBALL

Extra Innings, West Bridgewater, registration for clinics: Fall Ball with Extra Innings, open to teams and individuals. Teams will be guaranteed 6 home games. Rhode Island Thunder 18U Gold College Showcase Travel Team: Tryouts for the 2007 Fall and 2008 Summer Showcase Teams. The team is looking for high school freshman, sophomores and juniors. BASKETBALL Sarah Behn Basketball Camp: Sarah's Pre-Season, shooting and fundamentals instruction camps for girls at four Massachusetts locations for six Sundays from Oct. 14-Nov. 18. FOOTBALL

Wrentham Recreation Dept. GOLF

South Coast Amateur Golf Tournament: Sept. 7 and 8 at the Allendale Country Club (1047 Allen Street, North Dartmouth); format is individual player's medal play score with two handicap divisions for both men and women; awards include trophies, closest-to-pins on all par-3 holes and option skins pool; fee $100 for both rounds ($80 if registered before August 1). HOCKEY

Tri-County Saints: Now accepting applications for our House and Learn to Skate/Play Programs online at www.tricountysaints.com. Season begins in September and runs through April of 2008 and costs less than $10 an hour. Certified coaches and instructors at all levels; practice jerseys are provided. The instructional programs provide quality skating instruction with former high school hockey coach Steve Folan. House League takes place on weekends only for children age 10 and under. RUNNING

Runners, joggers of all types are invited to the fifth annual five-mile "Runaround" Race at 9 a.m. on Aug. 19. Sponsored by The Runaways Running Club, proceeds from the race and raffle benefit Community VNA Hospice Care. The race begins at the Community School, 45 South Washington St.; Cash prizes include $100 for first-place male and female runners and $100 for first place male and female walkers. Medals are awarded for all divisions, which include 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
