BASEBALL

Extra Innings, West Bridgewater, registration for clinics: Fall Ball with Extra Innings, open to teams and individuals. Teams will be guaranteed 6 home games. Fall season begins Sept. 8 and runs for six weeks. Games will be played on Saturday; Fall Indoor Wiffle Ball Leagues: starts Sept. 10 and runs through Christmas. Ages 6-8, 9-10 and 11-12 will compete over 14 weeks. Spots available for individuals or full teams; Sign up for one week, or more at a reduced rate. Registration is now underway for the Little North Attleboro League's fall baseball program. LNAL will again be sponsoring fall baseball teams for children ages 9-14. The league will be fielding teams in each the 9-10 and 11-12 year old divisions in the Sharon Youth Baseball and Softball Association's fall baseball program, which includes teams from about 10 towns throughout the area. Each of these teams will play two games each Saturday from Aug. 25 through Oct. 6, for a total of 14 games throughout the fall season. All games are played in Sharon. The LNAL are also hoping to field teams of 13- and 14-year-olds for in-town play. Registration fees are $55 for 9- to 12-year-olds, and $75 for 13-and 14-year-olds. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and spots are limited. BASKETBALL

Sarah Behn Basketball Camp: Sarah's Preseason, shooting and fundamentals instruction camps for girls at four Massachusetts locations for six Sundays from Oct. 14-Nov. 18. Local sessions at Mansfield SportsPlex. $200 tuition includes camp T-shirt. Grades 2-8 attend from 9-10:30 a.m.; high schoolers attend 10:30 a.m.-noon. $100 deposit required by Oct. 1. Registration for Attleboro Youth Basketball will be held Sept. 16 and 23 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Attleboro High School gymnasium lobby; Sunday night registration sessions are for elementary school and middle school recreation league players; cost of the elementary league $55 per player, with a discount for families with more than two players; $65 registration fee for middle school players; registration for the recreation leagues may also be done by mail; deadline for mail-in registrations is Sept. 28. FOOTBALL

Wrentham Recreation Dept. South Coast Amateur Golf Tournament: Sept. 7 and 8 at the Allendale Country Club (1047 Allen Street, North Dartmouth); format is individual player's medal play score with two handicap divisions for both men and women; awards include trophies, closest-to-pins on all par-3 holes and option skins pool; fee $100 for both rounds ($80 if registered before August 1). North Attleboro High tryouts: All candidates for the North Attleboro High School golf team are asked to report to the Locust Valley Golf Course in Attleboro Aug. 23 at 12:30 p.m. for tryouts. Individuals must provide a medical release form.

HOCKEY

NESHL fall-winter adult hockey leagues forming: Players and teams are needed for all levels of play and ages for the New England Senior Hockey League, which offers fall-winter leagues starting in Sept. and Oct. Tri-County Saints: Now accepting applications for our House and Learn to Skate/Play Programs online at www.tricountysaints.com. Hockomock Area YMCA's North Attleboro branch, 300 Elmwood St., has a variety of fall sports leagues for children, teens, and adults. The focus of all leagues is on encouraging activity, building skills, practicing good sportsmanship and teamwork, and having fun. The following leagues are available: Basketball leagues for youth, teens, and adults; Youth Soccer League; Dodgeball leagues for teens and adults; Friday Night Co-Ed Flag Football League; and Co-Ed Volleyball League.
