No ticket, no Buffett
Top Headlines Police also will order the lots opened at the normal 3:30 p.m. time - not earlier, as was the case at another concert last month - to discourage uncontrolled partying. Fans without tickets but a passion for partying are being blamed for many of the widespread drunken parking lot brawls from a July 28 country music festival at the Route 1 stadium. Signs will be posted at each parking lot telling people they can't stay without a ticket, said State Police Lt. Jeff Stuart, commander of the Foxboro barracks. Drivers without tickets will be directed back onto Route 1. "We are asking people, 'Don't come if you don't have a ticket. Because you're not welcome,'" Stuart said. "I don't think that anybody's opposed to anybody having a good time in the parking lots, if they're respectful to people," he said. Nonetheless, Stuart said state police will at least double their presence. "They'll be everywhere," Stuart said. Foxboro Police Chief Edward O'Leary said he had more than 120 officers and the state police had about 80 troopers at the country music festival. O'Leary said he, too, will beef up the police presence on Sunday toward "a more rapid deployment" in the parking lots and around the stadium. About two dozen motorcycle cops trained in crowd control will be ready to rush to the stadium. The officers are part of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, a consortium that includes Foxboro. Additional bicycle officers will be in the parking lots to "get the resources to where the need is," O'Leary said. O'Leary also is adding prisoner vans. And he is working on securing places to hold prisoners. "I don't have a lot of room here at my 'inn,'" O'Leary said. Additional officers also will be in the neighborhood before the show, he said. "As much as possible, we certainly don't want any disruptions," he said.

Are you kidding me??? I am sure they have locked up some Parrotheads at Great Woods before, but extra "parrot wagons" and holding areas for "prisoners"?
What about keel hauling and 30 lashes or better yet taking our rum rations away!

I am sure if you tell them you are buying tickets they will direct you to a different lot near the Box office so you can get them. This has happend at Great Woods for people picking up at will call in the past. But then again anything is possible. " Don wrote on Aug 30, 2007 8:22 PM: " Wow, the town selectmen and police up in Laconia aren't nearly as paraniod about bike week as those in Foxboro are about a group of Parrotheads coming to town for two whole days. Make that two half days actually. But who wouldn't be more afraid of 120,000 flipflop wearing concert goers, certainly far more frightening than over 200,000 leatherclad bikers. Lucky for us that we will have so many officers there to keep these terrifying hawiian shirted hordes who threaten the very existence of humanity in Foxboro.
If the people of Foxboro have any sense at all they'll be ashamed of their town. Oh, and thanks for not putting those who will start drinking early whether they can get in the parking lots or not on the road with me.
