Seekonk pilot faces charges
Top Headlines Brian P. Dedrick, 26, of 54 Sagamore Road, who was piloting his single engine Cessna 172 Skyhawk, was not injured and detained by members of the 102nd Fighter Wing until state police arrived, state police in Bourne said. Dedrick was arrested and charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon - double edged knives, state police said. He was taken into custody without incident, police added. It was unclear why he landed at Otis. The unauthorized landing was reported by the 102nd Fighter Wing at 2:20 p.m., according to the state police. The Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission is investigating the crash.
