Truck driver in fair condition

FOXBORO - A truck driver hospitalized after an accident on Interstate 95 Tuesday that caused a massive traffic jam was listed this morning in fair condition at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
Christopher Mullaley, 37, was trapped in the cab of his truck after it tipped over on I-95 South around noon Tuesday and had to be freed by firefighters using power and hand tools.
The accident occurred near the Route 140 exit and slowed traffic into the evening commuter hour.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Mullaley, of Dorchester, left the highway and into a trees before his tractor-trailer truck tipped over on its side, according to state police and fire officials. |
