FOXBORO - Parking lots at Gillette Stadium will open at 8 a.m. Saturday for the MIAA Eastern Mass. football Super Bowls, which will begin with the 9:30 a.m. matchup between Division 3A finalists Greater Lawrence and East Boston.
The Division 2 Super Bowl, between Bishop Feehan (9-2-1) and Walpole (11-1), is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., the last of the six games to be staged at Gillette.
Because this is the first time that the MIAA has conducted its championship games at Gillette, the following guidelines have been issued for fans interested in attending them:
Fans arriving from the south via Interstate 495 should enter the stadium parking lots via the P7 entrance. Fans arriving from the north via Interstate 95 should enter the stadium parking lots via the P1 entrance. Parking is free. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and allow enough time to purchase tickets and enter the stadium prior to the start of their game of interest.
Ticket offices are located outside both the Patriot Place Gate and the Bank of America Gate and open at 8 a.m. General admission tickets are $13 for adults and $10 for students, children and seniors. The stadium gates will open at 8:30 a.m.
Fans of teams on the East sideline are encouraged to enter the stadium via the Patriot Place Gate, while fans of teams on the West Sideline are encouraged to enter the stadium via the Bank of America Gate. Bishop Feehan won a coin flip Thursday and will be the home team for Saturday's game, setting up on the West sideline.
Television coverage of all six games at Gillette will be produced by Kraft Sports Productions. The Division 3A, 3 and 2A games will be carried on Comcast SportsNet, while the Division 1A, 1 and 2 games will be carried on WSBK-TV, Channel 38, beginning at 5:30 p.m. WCVB-TV sports director Mike Lynch will handle the play-by-play call for all six games, joined by former Patriots' quarterback Scott Zolak and CSN's Gary Tanguay.
