Harlan

Area shelters submitted the following photos and descriptions of animals available for adoption:

HARLAN

He's double pawed, double sized, and double lovable; he's Harlan! This extra large domestic short hair was found living in an abandoned rabbit house. Now he is living large at the animal shelter. It's heated, he gets to hang around people, and he gets baths. Yes, baths. Harlan lets the shelter's rottweiler, Katana (also up for adoption), lick him. He is a very docile, sweet cat with a nothing-can-ruin-my-day attitude. Kids, music, noise - nothing phases him. If he thinks he's living the life now, just wait until you walk through the shelter door and adopt him! He is ready to go to his forever home; he's up to date on routine shots, neutered, and house trained. For more information on Harlan or other adoptable pets, like Harlan's canine hairstylist, contact the Attleboro Animal Shelter at 509-761-5617 or visit the Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter's web site at attleboropets.petfinder.com.

CRYSTAL

"I know, I have a girls name! There was some confusion when I was a furry kitten. They thought I was a girl, until I went to the vet's to get 'fixed' and they figured out that I was a boy. Oh well! The name kind of stuck. They say they named me for my crystal-blue eyes. Anyway, I'm OK going through life with a sort of wimpy name. I know that I'm so handsome and eye-catching that names don't mean anything. Plus, my awesome personality will win anyone over. I enjoy just being snuggled!! I curl up into a loose, floppy ball of fur, and can fall sound asleep in a minute!! Still purring the whole time. I'm also great with other cats, small dogs, large laid-back dogs, even kids. Oh, and I'm great at the vet's!! Who could ask for anything else? By the time my picture is in the paper, I will even be bathed and groomed. I might even have a lion cut (I'm a little matted right now). I just know that the girls at the grooming post promised that I would look (and feel) like a show cat when I left their spa!! I'm neutered, leuk & fiv negative, vaccinated, chipped, and only about 9 years old."

WINNIE-2

"Hi, I am Winnie-2. I am available for adoption. I am a pretty little black female kitten who needs a home and someone to love me. I like all of the things that every kitten likes...playing with toys, napping, being snuggled and played with. Is there someone out there looking for a kitten like me?"

Winnie-2 is up to date with shots and litter box trained. To adopt a cat or kitten from Angelcat Haven, please call the message center at 508-203-4240 to make an appointment to meet the cats.
