Bulldog Club show set for March 16

SEEKONK - The Bulldog Club of New England will hold a sanctioned match show Sunday, March 16, at Canine Mastery, 102-A Pond St.

Entries will be taken from 9:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., when the judging will begin.]

Admission is $7 adults, $4 children 5-12, free for younger children. Dogs with more than 2 points or neutered cannot be shown. No puppies younger than 12 weeks will be allowed on the premises.

The day will also include a St. Patrick-Easter Costume Parade with prizes awarded at 10:15 a.m. A dog handling demonstration will be held at 11 a.m.

PLAINVILLE - A silent auction to benefit the Paws of Plainville Inc. animal shelter building fund will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 3, at Pan City Grille, 60 Manmar Drive.

All proceeds will go toward the building fund. Items up for bid will include:

A table for four at the Kentucky Derby Night at the Plainridge Racecourse (includes buffet/souvenirs, official program).

A foursome of golf at Wentworth Hills Golf and Country Club.
