Attleboro man facing drug charges after bust

ATTLEBORO - A city man faces drug charges after a bust at his Park Street apartment Tuesday night.
Police charged Miguel Santiago, 45, of 225 Park St., with possession of marijuana, subsequent offense; possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, subsequent offense; and possession of Vicodin, a prescription painkiller.
Police recovered 5 grams of cocaine, two Vicodin tablets and an unspecified amount of marijuana, Detective Sgt. Arthur Brillon said Wednesday. The cocaine has a street value of about $300, Brillon said.
Santiago was scheduled for arraignment in Attleboro District Court today.
Police, working with the Bristol County Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at Santiago's second-floor apartment at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Brillon said.
Santiago was then arrested, ending a two-month investigation.
