Top Headlines Up to 3 inches of rain is forecast here from the system moving in from the Southwest and which will bring blizzard conditions to other regions, meteorologists say. Urban and poor drainage areas will be a concern, the National Weather Service said. "Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop," the weather service said. Area homeowners are advised to make sure storm drains near their homes are clear of debris. The rain comes on the heels of a February that had 7.3 inches of precipitation, a record, and a March that so far has had over an inch of precipitation in its first few days. Thursday's high temperature was 55 degrees at 3 p.m., following record-breaking temperatures Wednesday that hit 63 degrees, according to the Attleboro Water Department. Today's high temperature is forecast to be 46 degrees, with increasing clouds before rain moves in tonight, AccuWeather said. Saturday will see pouring rain, flooding and strong winds, with a high of 53 degrees, and Saturday night should have a low of 33 degrees, with more rain and wind, AccuWeather said. Sunday is forecast to have a high of 38, with a mix of sun and clouds and wind. Sunday night in the area is expected to see a low of 19 degrees that should feel like 4 degrees because of the wind chill factor.
