Pets of the Week: ROLAND

Hard to believe by his picture that Roland is 8 years young. In fact, there's not much about him that indicates he's middle aged. He loves going for walks and moving around; in the car he simply barks until he gets out to walk around. Above all, Roland thrives on human company. A home where he can get frequent attention and be spoiled would be ideal. Roland would probably not do well as an apartment-dweller because he barks for attention, which could change in a home situation. He gets along with some dogs and will notify those he does not like. He loves to be petted, but not on his rear end. He will snap if someone pets this area, perhaps due to a bad prior experience. For this reason a home with young children is not suitable. If you are searching - or simply wishing - for a sweet, adoring dog to be by your side, come meet Roland! He is up-to-date on routine shots, neutered, and house trained. For more information on Roland, contact the Attleboro Animal Shelter at 508-761-5617 or visit the Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter's Web site at attleboropets.petfinder.com.
