Fired worker faces charges for allegedly threatening ex-boss

NORTH ATTLEBORO — A man fired from a local garment company was arrested Wednesday, allegedly for threatening his former boss.

Emanuel Roque, 32, who was fired from G&K Services at 31 Chestnut St. was released without bail after pleading innocent in Attleboro District Court to a charge of uttering threats to kill.

Roque, who has no criminal record, was ordered to stay away from his former boss and the company and was told by the court that if he is arrested again he could be held in jail without bail.

Police were called to the company about 6:40 a.m., and were told the threat was taken seriously.

Roque became angry when told he was being fired, police said. He is due back in court June 25.
