Selectwoman Carol Bragg has endorsed fellow selectmen Michael Brady and Robert Richardson in their re-election bids to the board in a letter to the editor to area newspapers, including The Sun Chronicle.
Bragg referred to Brady and Richardson as "mentors and allies," noting "their continued tenure on the board of selectmen is essential for me to accomplish my goals."
Bragg also said the success of new Town Administrator Michael Carroll would depend on his reliance on Richardson and Brady's "knowledge and experience." Bragg went on to say that ousting incumbents from the board in favor of a newcomer would "guarantee government failure."
Francis Cavaco, who is running against Brady and Richardson in Monday's election, dismissed Bragg's comments, calling them "hollow and self-serving."
