ATTLEBORO - Kathy Davis of Attleboro has returned to state Rep. John Lepper's office as his legislative aide, replacing Christopher Carlozzi, who is leaving the office to take a position with the National Federation of Independent Business.
"Chris has been an invaluable aide to me during the past three years. I'm very sorry to lose him, but I know he will be a tremendous asset for the National Federation of Independent Business," Lepper said.
At the federation, Carlozzi will be working under former state Rep. William Vernon, R-Mansfield.
He will be acting as a liaison with municipal governments.
Davis, the wife of City Councilor John Davis, served as Lepper's first legislative aide when he was elected to office in 1995. She now returns as Lepper finishes his seventh and final term in the Legislature.
"I am indeed fortunate that Kathy has agreed to return to the Statehouse replacing Chris. I'm looking forward to working together with her to serve the people of Attleboro." Lepper said.
Her duties will include providing constituent services, researching legislation, and managing his Boston office.
She can be reached weekdays in the Statehouse at 617-722-2100.
