FOXBORO - Junior Will Condon extended his unbeaten streak to five matches with a three-set victory at No. 1 singles in directing the unbeaten Mansfield High boys' tennis team to a 4-1 victory over rival Foxboro High Monday in a Hockomock League match.

Condon won a first-set tiebreaker 8-6 over the Warriors' Andrew Weiss, then a marathon 7-5 third set in extending his own and the Hornets' unbeaten streak to five. Meanwhile, both Mansfield doubles teams remained unbeaten as well, Jordan Sandberg and Jeremy Carroll winning a second set tiebreaker 7-1 at the No. 1 spot.

Ben Young lost just five games in winning his No. 2 singles match for Foxboro. The Warriors visit defending champion Sharon Wednesday, while Mansfield visits fellow unbeaten King Philip.

Also in the Hockomock League, defending champion Sharon lost just five games among the three singles matches and scored a 5-0 victory over . Austin Rainville and Eric Oliver claimed at set at the No. 1 doubles spot and held a 5-3 lead in the third set of their match. The Rocketeers (2-2) meet Canton Wednesday.

Another shutout for as the unbeaten Warriors rolled over Hockomock League foe Canton, 5-0. King Philip yielded just two games on the afternoon in chalking up the time-efficient victory. Both KP doubles teams - Alex Huth and Jake Archibald at No. 1 as well as Sean Maguire and Alex Wider at No. 2 - are undefeated through five matches, as is Harrison David at No. 3 singles. King Philip (5-0, 4-0 Hockomock) hosts Mansfield on Wednesday. "They're even stronger than they were last year," said coach Russ Severs of Old Colony League power Barnstable taking a 4-1 verdict over the Bombardiers. AHS senior James Bensson scored a straight-set shutout victory at No. 1 singles for the Bombardiers, who meet Taunton Thursday.
