LACROSSE: KP looking perfect

DARTMOUTH - Mike Saulnier was perfect, winning all 14 faceoffs that he drew, and the unbeaten King Philip Regional High boys' lacrosse team was near perfect as well, going penalty-free for the second match this season en route to a 7-2 victory over Dartmouth High Thursday in a non-league match.

Matt Schairer and Brian Poirier each netted two goals for the Warriors, who claimed a 3-0 halftime lead. Kyle Lasher, John Cuozzo (two assists) and Cam Olean each scored single goals.

Nate Robeson made seven saves in goal for the Warriors, who dominated the ground balls and possession time. KP (8-0) has a noon faceoff at home with Hopkinton on Saturday.

Tri-County 12, Southeastern 5

FRANKLIN - Mike Cavanaugh scored six goals and had two assists as the Tri-County laxmen remained undefeated at 6-0.

Scott Gilbert added two goals and Mike Foster a goal and two assists to the Cougars' attack. T-C raced to a 5-1 edge after one period and was safely in front at the half (10-3).

Jamie McLaughlin turned away 15 Hawk shots.
