Youths: Win turkey hunt with Light
Youths ages 12 to 17 can take a shot at winning a free Youth Turkey Hunting Day with noted outdoorsman, philanthropist and New England Patriot Pro Bowl Offensive Lineman Matt Light.
The winner of the contest, being held in conjunction with the Light Foundation and the Bass Pro Shops store in Foxboro, will receive a free one-day hunt with Light on May 13, beginning at 5 a.m. at a location selected by Light that is within a short drive of the Foxboro Bass Pro Shops store. The winner will also receive a gift bag of turkey hunting-related items (including turkey calls), as well as a signed photo and football from Light. Entries can be made at the official in-store entry box between now and May 7. As the largest health-care company in Massachusetts, the $9 billion company stayed at its global headquarters in Mansfield, after its spinoff from Tyco in 2007, because of the workforce in the Neponset Valley, Meelia said. About 1,300 Covidien employees work in Mansfield, and the company is growing.

TharpeRobbins has been recycling an average about 30 tons of waste cardboard and office type paper for many years, according to Hustler. He says each desk, work station and cubicle have their own recycle boxes that are collected into the larger containers. TharpeRobbins also owns and operates a zero discharge, closed loop industrial water recirculation system that uses 400 gallons a week of fresh city water compared to millions that was used on an annual basis in the past up until the early ’90s.

The event was attended by 23 people, many of whom are shown listening to a presentation, above.
