Feehan students earn scholastic art awards
ATTLEBORO - A record 14 Bishop Feehan High School students won awards in the prestigious Boston Globe Scholastic Arts Contest, including four highest honor Gold Key Winners and six Gold Key Portfolio winners, where entire portfolios are judged.
Gold and Silver Key winning artwork was on display at the State Transportation Building in Boston and recipients received their awards at John Hancock Hall on Feb. 10. The Gold Key award winners were Nate Bowditch (Norton), Viviana Hanley (Attleboro), Lauren Hayes (Norton), and Elizabeth Keegan (North Attleboro).
Kristin Connors (Mansfield) received two Silver Key awards while one each was awarded to Brianne Costa (Foxboro) and Jennifer Thomas (Foxboro).
Honorable mentions were awarded to Danielle LaMountain (Pawtucket), Anastacia Luce (Wrentham) and Michelle Wade (Walpole).
Gold Key Portfolio awards were presented to Nicole Dunn (Cumberland), Lauren Hayes, Kristin Connors, Danica Aldrich (Providence), Brianne Costa, and Chelsea Gibbons (Cumberland, R.I.).
All Gold and Silver Key winners will compete on a national level in New York City in May. |
