Ramble along for KP sports on Saturday

WRENTHAM - The King Philip Sports Boosters is holding its Second Annual Rabbit Ramble 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 22 at 10 a.m.

All proceeds from the race will benefit King Philip Regional High School scholarships for graduating seniors. The race will start and finish at the Wrentham Development Center on Emerald Street in Wrentham.

In addition to the 5K road race, there will be children's races (100 meter and one-quarter mile) at 11 a.m. The registration fees are $20 adults, $12 students, and $5 for kids.

Prizes will be awarded to first male and female, top 3 in each age group, King Philip faculty/staff, KP alum, and all kids.

Free T-shirts will be given to the first 100 5K registrants. Pre-registration is encouraged. Registration will open on race day at 8:30 a.m. Registration forms may be printed from www.kingphilipboosters.com.

Registration forms are also available at the high school and middle school, and libraries, post offices and town halls in the three King Philip towns of Wrentham, Plainville and Norfolk. For questions, e-mail kporell@comcast.net.
