Needham - Esther Weisman Kattef, of Needham, and Bob Kattef, of Weston, announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Sarah Kattef, to Daniel Ronald Almeida, son of Ronald and Margaret Almeida of Attleboro.

A wedding is planned for July 20, 2008 at The Club at New Seabury in Mashpee.

Ms. Kattef is a 1997 graduate of Weston High School. She graduated from Union College in 2001 and received a master's degree in education from Simmons College.

She currently teaches at the John D. Runkle School in Brookline.

Mr. Almeida is a 1997 graduate of Attleboro High School. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in 2001 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in education. He currently teaches at the John W. Decas School in Wareham.
