REILLY: TV - The ultimate recycler
Our long national nightmare is nearly over. As the days had stretched into weeks and the weeks into months, it seemed that it would never end. But, at last we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And it is in high definition.
I know it's only April but the TV networks - forced during the writers' strike to air reruns, failed pilots and executives' home movies - are trying to get disenchanted viewers interested in the fresh, exciting new series in the pipeline for the fall.
But, as it turns out, the new series may not be all that original, after all.
I know. I too was shocked to find that the entertainment industry is not above copying someone else's work.
I thought that should be left to journalists. |
