Wrentham - John and Lorraine Mackun of Wrentham announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lee Mackun, to Ryan Joseph Shields, son of Lisa Barton-Shields and Richard Shields of Walpole.

A wedding is planned for April 4, 2009 in Walpole.

Ms. Mackun graduated from King Philip Regional High School in 2002. She earned an associate's degree from Massasoit Community College in 2004, and is currently attending Bridgewater State College.

She is a receptionist at Tufts Veterinarian Hospital in Walpole.

Mr. Shields graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury in 2001. He earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Bryant University in 2005. He is a construction estimator for Ryan Construction in Walpole.
