Margaret Fenn Rogers Drumright, 60

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Margaret (Peggy) Fenn Rogers Drumright departed this life on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, in Knoxville, Tenn.

She was born April 12, 1948 to her late parents, Elizabeth F. and Benjamin D. Rogers of Norfolk. She was also preceded in death by her loving son, William (Billy) F. England III.

Peggy leaves behind many who will miss her smile and laughter: a devoted and caring husband, William (Bill) T. Drumright, Jr. of Knoxville; daughter Rebecca (Becky) A. England of Lynchburg, Va.; stepsons Kenneth (Kenny) W. Drumright and wife Karen, and William (Bill) T. Drumright III and wife Amy, of Colonial Heights, Va.; sister Joanna Scott and her son of Sharon; brothers Ben Rogers and wife Jean, and Kimball Rogers and wife Barbara and family of Norfolk; mother-in-law Willie (Billie) Drumright of Knoxville; sister-in-law Milla Bilbrey and her husband Mickey of Park City, Utah; and grandchildren Brittany, Quinton, Zachary, and Blakely Drumright of Colonial Heights, Va. In addition, she is survived by her faithful canine companion of over 18 years, Brandy. Peggy grew up in Norfolk, and moved to Lynchburg, Va., to attend Lynchburg College, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree. She later attended the University of Virginia, where she obtained her master's degree. Her career with the Lynchburg city school system afforded her the opportunity to teach at R. S. Payne Elementary School and to run the Parent Center, which provided help to parents whose children needed additional assistance with early learning. She retired from the school system in 2001. She was an active member of the Girls Scouts and a devoted fan of the Tennessee Volunteers football and Lady Vols basketball teams. She was also a proud member of Red Sox Nation.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Diuguid Funeral Home on Wiggington Road in Lynchburg, Va. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in her name, as an honor to her son William England III.

Ella O. Whalen, 95

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Ella O. Whalen, 95, of Chestnut Street, passed away on April 24, 2008, in Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. She was the wife of the late William T. Whalen.

Born in Attleboro on Sept. 8, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Gertrude (Seyboth) McNally.

Ella was educated in Attleboro schools. A homemaker, she also worked alongside her husband for many years in the office of their business, W.T. Whalen Engineering. She was also a member of the North Attleboro Elks Emblem Club.

Ella is survived by her children: William J. Whalen of North Attleboro, Paul G. Whalen of North Attleboro, and Valerie J. Langille of Foxboro. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was the mother of the late Barbara Campbell and the late Walter T. Whalen.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29 at 10 a.m. in the John J. Diamond Funeral Home, 180 North Washington St., North Attleboro. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to DAV Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.

Joyce L. Bergeron, 64

MANSFIELD - Joyce L. Bergeron, 64, of Plain Street, passed away on April 23, 2008 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. She was the wife of Roger Bergeron of Mansfield.

Born in Attleboro on Nov. 5, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Edith (Baristo) Childs.

Joyce was educated in North Attleboro schools. She enjoyed singing in the Sacred Heart Choir in earlier days, loved her cats, and playing Bingo. She also liked to draw and paint in her leisure time.

In addition to her husband Roger, she is survived by a son, Kenneth Bergeron of Taunton; two daughters, Laura Jean Reynolds of Pennsylvania and Cheryl Bergeron of Attleboro; two brothers, Francis "Mike" Bergeron and Alan Childs; two sisters, Carole Lowe of South Attleboro and Joan Boutin of North Attleboro. Also survived by her grandchildren: Shannon Mae Reynolds, Kati-Lyn Reynolds, and Sara Reynolds; and a great-grandson, Michael Reynolds.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28 at 9 a.m. from the John J. Diamond Funeral Home, 180 North Washington St., North Attleboro. Followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Church Street, North Attleboro. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.

Donna Maria Creighton, 53

WALPOLE
- Donna Maria Creighton, 53, of Walpole, died on Thursday, April 24 at her home, surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Ruth (Mercandetti) Rocca.

Donna was born in Cambridge on April 18, 1955, and was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School, Class of 1972. She and her husband Charles were married at St. John's Church in West Roxbury on Jan. 19, 1991. She has been a Walpole resident for the past 15 years.

Donna was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She loved spending time with her family and friends and everything she did revolved around her children. She also enjoyed watercolor painting and especially enjoyed painting flowers.

Beloved wife of Charles Creighton. Devoted mother of Nicole and Tyler Creighton of Walpole. Loving sister of Anthony Rocca of Belmont and Jean Rocca of Popponesset. Also survived by many loving friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 28 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxboro. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home.

Sharon Marie Krug, 39

FOXBORO
- Sharon Marie Krug, 39, of North Attleboro, formerly of Foxboro, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, April 23, 2008.

Sharon was born in Norwood on Feb. 9, 1969 and was a graduate of Foxboro High School, Class of 1987. She graduated from Bridgewater State College in 1991 with a degree in accounting. She was an accountant for Dunkin' Brands in Canton.

Sharon possessed a generous spirit and her friends were very important to her. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and loved to take long walks on Castle Island. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and was an avid New England sports fan.

Beloved daughter of Margaret (Hegarty) Krug and Frederick T. Krug Jr. and his wife Geraldine of Foxboro. Loving sister of James F. Krug and his wife Elaine, Michael T. Krug and Stephen M. Krug, all of Foxboro, and Margaret A. and her husband Richard Robicheau of Seekonk. Also survived by two nieces, nephew and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, April 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxboro. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxboro.

Timothy M. Desilets, 59

TAUNTON
- Timothy M. Desilets, 59, died in his home after a very brief illness on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Attleboro, and made his home and was educated in North Attleboro, son of the late William and Beverly (Kiff) Desilets-Rose.

He was employed as a chef at the Segregansett Country Club in Taunton, and prior to that he was the chef at the Jockey Club in Raynham. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed playing pool and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha (Enos) Martin-Desilets. He was the father of Tom Lewis Martin Jr., who is serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq, and his wife Monique Lima-Martin, and Timothy Dylan Desilets of Taunton, Tiel Desilets, formerly of Attleboro, and the late Tara Lynn Martin. He is the grandfather of Tom Lewis Martin III and Cole Jacob Martin of Taunton. He is the brother of Stephen Rose and Michael Rose of Attleboro, Richard Desilets of California, and the late Patricia Desilets. He was the son-in-law of Phyllis Enos of Taunton and the late Ralph C. Enos Jr., and is the brother-in-law and uncle of several.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, on Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m. Visiting hours will be prior to the service from 5 to 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
