Joseph Warner King, 79
ATTLEBORO - Joseph Warner King, 79, of Ellis Street, Attleboro, a retired Town of Mansfield employee, died Friday, April 25, 2008, in the Golden Living Center, Attleboro. He was the husband of Marcia Eleanor (Novak) King. Mr. King was a resident of Attleboro since 1958.
Born in Mansfield on July 17, 1928, he was the son of the late Willis S. and Elsie Alzena (Sharp) King. Joseph was raised and educated in Mansfield.
He was employed by the Town of Mansfield Highway Department for over 30 years, retiring in 1988.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and later as a member of the Army Reserves for over 20 years in both Taunton and later Brockton, prior to retirement.
Joseph was known for his hard work ethic and his dedication and love for his country through his years of military service.
In addition to his wife Marcia, he is survived by two sons: Michael S. and his wife Karen King of Attleboro, and David A. King of Attleboro; two daughters: Patricia A. King of Attleboro, and Linda L. and her husband Larry Summarell of Franklin, Ky.; a brother, Willis S. King Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a sister, Phyllis Sjowdin of Pensacola, Fla. Also survived by his grandchildren: Benjamin King, Laura King, Joseph Summarell, Rebecca Summarell, and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Roy King.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, April 29 at 10 a.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. Burial will follow in Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held Monday evening in the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m.

William H. Young, 79
ATTLEBORO - William H. Young, 79, of 41 North Ave., Attleboro, a retired truck driver, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008, in the Epoch Senior Care Center, Norton. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (Lemonde) Young.
Born in Attleboro on Sept. 15, 1928, he was the son of the late William F. and Elizabeth (Bellemore) Young.
William was educated in Attleboro schools.
He worked as a truck driver for D&T Oil Company, E.J. Harrall Transport, Oneida Trucking, and Keeley's Overland Express prior to retirement years ago.
He was a member of BPOE No. 1014 in Attleboro, and enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing.
He also served his country in the U.S. Navy.
William is survived by his two sons: Ron W. Young of Providence, and Michael and his wife Rose Marie Young of Goose Creek, S.C.; and a daughter, Karen and her husband Stephen White of Plainville. Also survived by three grandchildren: Brian Burns of Cedar Creek, Texas, Kelsey White of Plainville, and Matthew White of Plainville.
He was the brother of the late Gladys Souza and the late Lorraine Merow.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, May 1 at 9 a.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday evening, April 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Margaret Fenn Rogers Drumright, 60
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Margaret (Peggy) Fenn Rogers Drumright departed this life on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, in Knoxville, Tenn.
She was born April 12, 1948 to her late parents, Elizabeth F. and Benjamin D. Rogers of Norfolk. She was also preceded in death by her loving son, William (Billy) F. England III.
Peggy leaves behind many who will miss her smile and laughter: a devoted and caring husband, William (Bill) T. Drumright, Jr. of Knoxville; daughter Rebecca (Becky) A. England of Lynchburg, Va.; stepsons Kenneth (Kenny) W. Drumright and wife Karen, and William (Bill) T. Drumright III and wife Amy, of Colonial Heights, Va.; sister Joanna Scott and her son of Sharon; brothers Ben Rogers and wife Jean, and Kimball Rogers and wife Barbara and family of Norfolk; mother-in-law Willie (Billie) Drumright of Knoxville; sister-in-law Milla Bilbrey and her husband Mickey of Park City, Utah; and grandchildren Brittany, Quinton, Zachary, and Blakely Drumright of Colonial Heights, Va. In addition, she is survived by her faithful canine companion of over 18 years, Brandy.
Peggy grew up in Norfolk, and moved to Lynchburg, Va., to attend Lynchburg College, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree. She later attended the University of Virginia, where she obtained her master's degree. Her career with the Lynchburg city school system afforded her the opportunity to teach at R. S. Payne Elementary School and to run the Parent Center, which provided help to parents whose children needed additional assistance with early learning. She retired from the school system in 2001. She was an active member of the Girls Scouts and a devoted fan of the Tennessee Volunteers football and Lady Vols basketball teams. She was also a proud member of Red Sox Nation.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Diuguid Funeral Home on Wiggington Road in Lynchburg, Va. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in her name, as an honor to her son William England III.
Donald Raymond Fulton Sr., 80
SWANSEA - Donald Raymond Fulton Sr., 80, of Swansea Mall Drive, Swansea; formerly of Bank Street Extension, Attleboro, died on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at the Boston Healthcare System, a division of the Veterans Administration Medical Center, in Brockton, following an illness that began in January.
He was the husband of Delia M. (Joncas) Fulton, to whom he was married on Aug. 31, 1969.
Born in North Attleboro on Dec. 15, 1927, he was a son of the late Leroy "Roy" and Julia (Goff) Fulton. He was raised and educated in North Attleboro and was a resident of Attleboro for almost 40 years prior to moving to Swansea in August 2007.
Prior to active service in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Fulton served as a Merchant Marine. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on March 21, 1945, and served honorably until his discharge on Dec. 27, 1945. He served aboard a weapon carrier in Germany and saw action in China. He was the recipient of the Asiatic Pacific Medal, the American Area Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal for having served during the World War II era. He remained deeply proud of his military service and considered it an honor and privilege to have protected his nation.
In earlier years, he was employed by the Robbins Company in Attleboro and later worked for many years as a car salesman, having been employed at the former Lincoln Mercury dealership on Pleasant Street in Attleboro, and was a member of the management team at the former Stone Chevrolet on Pleasant Street in Attleboro.
Following his retirement, he was employed by the Pet Memorial Park and Crematory on South Street in Foxboro for many years.
He was a former longtime member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Attleboro, where he received all of his sacraments.
Many people traveling the streets and roads of Attleboro would recognize him as he often took long walks with his beloved canine companion and enjoyed walking much since retirement.
One of his favorite pastimes was spending the July 4th holiday with his family and friends.
He enjoyed annual deep sea fishing trips with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife of 38 years, he leaves twin sons: Donald R. Fulton Jr. of Leominster, and Ronald J. Fulton of Attleboro; three stepsons: Edward Carey Jr. of Attleboro, Thomas R. Carey of North Attleboro, and Robert J. Carey of Hamilton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marge Pelchat of Mansfield. He was grandfather of the late Christopher Carey, who died on Sept. 12, 1998, and was the brother of the late Charles Fulton and Edward Fulton.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation with Veteran's Honors on Monday, April 28 from 5 to 7:45 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave. (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, three-quarters-of-a-mile on left), Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.

Katrina Clinton, pastor of the First Congregational Church, Old Post Road, North Attleboro, officiating.

Private graveside services with full military honors will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, McArthur Boulevard, Bourne.
