The following obituaries were published for Marjorie E. Hodges, 80, of Attleboro; Estelle A. Roy, 87, of Attleboro; Lorraine F. (Denvir) Hubrich, 47, of Foxboro; Robert K. Coolidge, 84, of North Attleboro; and Landon "Grem" Ferris, 72, of Wrentham.
Marjorie E. Hodges, 80
ATTLEBORO - Marjorie E. Hodges, 80, died early Thursday morning, May 8, 2008, in Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Charles Hodges, who passed away in 1986.
Born April 7, 1928, in Norwood, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Eleanor (Barney) Richards and beloved stepdaughter of Mary Julia Richards of Attleboro.
Marjorie worked for many years at Texas Instruments and was a longtime communicant of All Saints Church, now All Saints Anglican Church, in Attleboro. She was an avid knitter and was a caring and loving woman who was always there to help. Marjorie especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters: Pamella Wheelock and her husband Ronald of Attleboro, and Emily Jane Young and her husband Michael of South Attleboro; three sons: Jay Hodges and his wife Kathy of Attleboro, Charles Hodges Jr. and his wife Virginia of North Attleboro, and Richard Hodges and his wife Joyce of New Hampshire; two sisters, Myrtle Wass of Nevada and Sandra Macomber of Attleboro; three brothers: Harold Richards of Greenfield, Donald Richards of Uxbridge, and Allen Richards in South Carolina. Also 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was sister of the late Robert Richards.
A funeral will be held in All Saints Anglican Church, 1188 South Main St. (Route 152), Attleboro, on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be held privately at a later date in Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield.
Relatives and friends are also invited to attend Visiting Hours on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St., North Attleboro.

Estelle A. Roy, 87
ATTLEBORO - Estelle A. Roy, 87, of Park Street, Attleboro, died Friday, May 9, 2008 in the Golden Living Center - Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Eugene I. Roy.
She was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Phillip and Florence (Corbeil) LaPointe. She had lived most of her life in Attleboro and was a communicant of St. Stephen's Church.
She leaves two sons, Gerard O. and his wife Elaine C. Roy of Coventry, R.I. and Emile P. Roy of Seekonk; one daughter, Marie B. and her husband Francis X. Webb of Attleboro; three brothers: Wilfred T. LaPointe and Herve E. LaPointe of Phoenix, Ariz. and Emile P. LaPointe of Pawtucket; three sisters: Emeline Proulx and Therese Nye, both of Attleboro, and Lorraine Y. Frank of Glendale, Ariz.; one granddaughter, Monica Roy; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elva Deavellar.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 9:30 a.m. in the Foley-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main St. (Route 152) in Attleboro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may visit with the family from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. before the service.

Lorraine F. Hubrich, 47
FOXBORO - Lorraine F. (Denvir) Hubrich, 47, of Foxboro, formerly of Mansfield, Norwood and Quincy, died on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous eight-year battle with breast cancer. She was the loving wife of Paul G. Hubrich, to whom she was wed to on June 12, 1982.
Born in Quincy on March 2, 1961, she was a devoted daughter of Robert F. and Frances (Signorello) Denvir of Quincy.
She was raised in the Hough's Neck section of Quincy and was a 1979 graduate of Quincy High School. She furthered her studies at Simmons College in Boston.
Lorraine was an officer of the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, where she was a senior vice president responsible for its Web sites, business development, and technology. Prior to joining this area, Lorraine worked in Fidelity Employer Services Company, where she was a leader on the team that built Fidelity's 401k business. She joined Fidelity Investments in 1989 after working at John Hancock Insurance Company for nine years.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000, Lorraine began raising money for the American Cancer Society through their Making Strides Against Breast cancer walks with her team, "Invested Friends and Family." Over the past eight years, her team has raised more than $200,000 and has been one of the top fundraising teams for the Boston event. Nationwide in 2007, Lorraine was one of the top individual fundraisers, personally generating over $45,000 in contributions.
A friend to all, Lorraine was known for her great sense of humor and superior organizational skills. She frequently gathered her family and friends at her home to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and other significant life milestones in grand style. Her nieces and nephews relied on her counsel to guide them, and she helped some start businesses or go to school. She always found time to visit and give support to her older relatives as well. Whenever she could, Lorraine reached out to others with breast cancer to offer kind words of encouragement and advice. Her stoicism in fighting this disease was inspirational to others.
A devout parishioner at St. Mary's Church in Mansfield, she enjoyed teaching religious education to fourth-graders and actively helping out for many years at the annual Septemberfest.
She had made her home in Foxboro for the past 10 years and was a former resident of Mansfield, Norwood and Quincy.
In addition to her loving husband of nearly 26 years and her devoted parents, she is survived by her beloved sisters Carol Denvir Johnson and her husband Gerald of Brookfield; Virginia E. DelGreco of Kingston; and Frances Denvir MacDonald and her husband Kenneth of Mansfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, a large extended family, and many friends.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 9:30 a.m. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield, followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106), Mansfield. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, May 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.

Robert K. Coolidge, 84
NORTH ATTLEBORO - Robert K. Coolidge, 84, of Allen Avenue, North Attleboro, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, in Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the devoted husband of 56 years of Helen K. (Pysz) Coolidge.
He was born in New Bedford, a son of the late Walter W. and Gertrude M. (Cody) Coolidge. He had lived in North Attleboro since 1973, having previously lived in Attleboro for many years.
He was an active member of All Saints Anglican Church in Attleboro.
Bob had been the owner and operator of Coolidge Signs of Attleboro for many years before he retired. He formerly owned the Coolidge Hobby Shop in Attleboro and was an avid Hobby Model builder.
He had proudly served with the U.S. Army during World War II in the Rhineland, the Ardennes and Central Europe.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Robert K. and his wife Linda A. Coolidge of Rehoboth, and Karl E. Coolidge of Attleboro; three grandchildren: Crystal, Katherine and Robert K. Coolidge III; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Walter and Kenneth Coolidge.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 8:30 a.m. from the Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 160 Park St. (Route 118), Attleboro, followed by a Requiem Eucharist Service at 10 a.m. officiated by the Rev. Lance Giuffrida in All Saints Anglican Church, 1188 South Main St. in Hebronville, Attleboro.
Burial with full military honors will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, North Main Street, Attleboro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may visit with the family from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. before the service.

Landon "Grem" Ferris, 72
WRENTHAM - Landon "Grem" Ferris, 72, of 494 Hancock St., Wrentham, died on Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, R.I., after being stricken ill at home. He was the loving and devoted husband of 49 years to Genevieve (Lewicki) Ferris and to whom he was married on April 25, 1959.
Born in Providence on Jan. 25, 1936, he was the dear son of the late Harvey and Mabel (Duval) Ferris. He attended Bellingham public schools.
Grem was a retired Certified Water Supply Operator for the Town of Wrentham Water Department. He received his certification to perform his duties in 1990 and retired from this work in 2003.
At an earlier age, he developed a love and passion for country music and playing his guitar. After forming his own band, Grem Ferris and the Wheels, he had the honor of being the opening band for such artists as the late Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Johnny Paycheck, Tex Ritter, and numerous others of note. He also received many awards from the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Country Music Awards Association, and was inducted into the Massachusetts Country Music Hall of Fame.
He was formerly employed by Wrentham Sand and Gravel for many years, and was also a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Wrentham Center.
In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves his six dear children: Linda and her husband Brian Flynn of Bowdoin, Maine; Landon "Matt" and his wife Donna Ferris of Bellingham; Daniel Ferris and his companion Barbara of Franklin; David and his wife Filomina Ferris of Plainville; Phillip and his wife Wendy Ferris of Sheldonville; and James Ferris of Wrentham. He was the devoted grandfather of Lindsy Certo of Maryland, Brian Flynn Jr. and Landon Flynn of Maine, Katrina and Ashley Ferris of Bellingham, Michael Ferris of Plainville, David, John, and Peter Ferris of Plainville, and Emily Ferris of Sheldonville; and great-grandfather of Jaiden Certo of Maryland. He was predeceased by his brothers Charles, Harvey, Robert, and Gordon Ferris.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South St., Route 1A, Wrentham Center.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 140 South St., Route 1A, Wrentham Center. Burial will follow in the Wrentham Centre Cemetery.
