Obituaries were reported for Kevin Proulx, 49, of Cumberland, R.I., Ruth Keegan, 76, of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Milton Knox Sr., 75, of Rehoboth.
Kevin Proulx, 49
CUMBERLAND, R.I. - Kevin R. Proulx, 49, passed away Friday, May 9, 2008. He was the beloved husband of Martha (Church) Lapierre-Proulx.
Born in Pawtucket and raised in South Attleboro, he was a son of Patricia A. (Foucault) Proulx of South Attleboro and Felix Proulx of Hanson.
Kevin was a pool specialist at Swimming Pool Specialists in Charlestown, R.I., for the past five years.
Kevin enjoyed fishing with his son and quahoging. He was a creative, warm and compassionate person and he loved his pets. Kevin was a gourmet cook, motorcycle enthusiast and NASCAR fan. He was very proud of his children, Julie and Kevin. They were the light of his life.
Besides his wife, mother and father he leaves his daughter, Julie P. (Proulx) Ostiguy, her husband Peter and their son, Cameron of North Kingstown, R.I.; his son, Kevin B. Proulx of Cranston, R.I.; his siblings, Michael Proulx of Halifax, Laura Thibodeau of Nashua, N.H., Paul Proulx of Rehoboth, Felicia Brown of South Attleboro, Russell Proulx of Huntington Beach, Calif., Theresa Proulx of South Attleboro and Adam Proulx of Whitman; his aunt, Theresa Andresen of Naples, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from the William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic St., South Attleboro. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Ruth Keegan, 76
FT. PIERCE, FLA. - Ruth E. Keegan, 76, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at her home.
Born in Attleboro, she had been a resident of Fort Pierce, Fla., for the past 15 years, coming from Manchester, Conn.
Prior to retirement, she was a secretary for the Manchester school system for 25 years.
Ruth was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Keegan of Fort Pierce; her son, William Keegan of Gainesville, Fla.; her daughter, Catherine Keegan of North Oxford; her daughter, Anne V. Torrance of East Lyme, Conn.; seven grandchildren and her brother, Robert William Sharkey of Attleboro.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.
A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at St. Helen's Catholic Church, Vero Beach, Fla. at 10 a.m.
Arrangements are under the care of the Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
Milton Knox Sr., 75
REHOBOTH - Milton L. Knox Sr., 75, of Bay State Road, Rehoboth, died in the Jane Brown Unit of Rhode Island Hospital on Saturday. He was the devoted husband for 52 years of Sally T. (Hurrell) Knox.
He was born in Seekonk, a son of the late Maynard and Mildred (Luther) Knox.
He had lived in Rehoboth for 50 years, having previously resided in Seekonk.
He was an active member of the Rehoboth Congregational Church and had been a machinist for the Providence Journal Company for 32 years before retiring in 1995.
He had proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
His favorite hobbies were bowling and photography.
He was a call fireman for the Rehoboth Fire Department and had served as a member of the Rehoboth Call Firefighters Association Ball Committee for 20 years.
Besides his wife, he leaves one son, Milton L. "Skip" Knox Jr. and his wife Christine M. Knox of Attleboro; two daughters, Sheila J. and her husband Russell W. Westcott of Skowhegan, Maine and Susan D. and her husband Robert W. Gauthier Jr. of Groveton, N.H.; one brother, Edwin M. Knox of Boca Raton, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Rehoboth Congregational Church, Bay State Road, Rehoboth. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rehoboth Village Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Foley-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main St. (Route 152), Attleboro.
