Little Compton, R.I. - Valeska Lynn Goulet and Ryan Edward McDavitt were married on June 16, 2007 at the Sakonnet Vineyards in Little Compton, R.I., which was also the venue of the reception.

The Rev. Dr. Lynne C. Holden officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Sandy Goulet of Attleboro. The bridegroom is the son of Edward and Wendy McDavitt of North Attleboro.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a Maggie Sottero gown and carried a bouquet of off-white roses.

Maid of honor was Tanuja A. Goulet, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lauren Carreiro and Lacy Heffel, both friends of the bride, and Erin McDavitt, sister of the groom.

Best man was Gregory Plante, friend of the groom.

Ushers were Josh Bottomley, Christian Correra and Domenic Dimonte, all friends of the groom.

The bride earned a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She also received an associate's degree in physical therapy assisting from the Community College of Rhode Island in Newport.
