Briggs' expanded store open in NA

NORTH ATTLEBORO - The doors are now open to Briggs Nursery's expanded quarters, which include 14,500 square feet of new, state-of-the-art greenhouses.
The project, started last year, has a Briggs Garden Cafe, said general manager Gary Briggs.
The business on Kelley Boulevard, on the site since 1962, has been open during renovations, but patrons can now shop within expanded and renovated buildings, including a 10,480-square-foot addition.
A portion of the existing main building and home on the site were razed to make way for the improvements.
A grand opening will likely take place after the season, Briggs said.
