Adler talk to urge Attleboro to explore 'green' industry
Top Headlines It will be Adler's second discussion on "greening the local economy" and will focus on ways "to stimulate the local economy that also help to develop human potential and protect the environment." Last month, he talked about ways to promote economic well being at the local level by developing community loan funds, community supported agriculture programs, community development corporations and the development of local currencies, barter exchanges and land trusts. About 30 people attended the first talk, Adler said. The session will be held at the public library in the Balfour Room starting at 7 p.m. More information on the topics covered in Adler's talks can be found online at http://greentenmile.ning.com.
